Chinese furniture industry


Over recent more than decade years, Chinese furniture industry has got unprecedented development, evolving from traditional handicraft industry to modernized scale production; promoting from pure and single furniture products to the furniture brand with its own cultural intension; resulting in increase of jobholders year by year and annual growth of output value. However, the Chinese furniture industry is relatively underdeveloped in the world, subject to the small and medium-sized enterprises, and most furniture enterprises with short build-up time, disparity in enterprise management level in terms of managerial talent. The industrialized level of furniture manufacturing is not sufficient. Although numerous advanced production equipment have been imported, the utilization rate of the equipment is low; additionally, it is still relatively backward that the management of the mechanical equipment safeguards, the development of application of mechanical equipment software lags behind; There are still not many famous brands of furniture with independent intellectual property right in China, with middle-and-low grade furniture surplus while the top-grade furniture insufficient in supply. Enterprise design and development capacity are indifferently, the whole trade furniture designer is scarce, the problem of product imitation still exists; The products circulation style is subject to  sales through one's own channels; there are a few marketing enterprises of stronger fund force, the market sales lacks the links of selling in batches. The intact marketing system has not taken shape yet; Some areas are in case of not finishing market survey and investigation building the furniture industrial parks or furniture stores, taking the furniture industry as the pillar industry, resulting in resources wasted; It is in large quantity that the furniture is exported, while the price is on the low side and the structure is not rational enough; the overseas markets are too centralized, there are few independent brands, and the added value of the products is not high.
